Doug Dacey produces a fine line of porcelain pottery and sculpture. He uses the colors and forms of nature as an inspiration for developing patterns and decorations that enhance his wheel thrown forms. All the functional work is safe for use and is oven proof and dishwasher safe. The glazes are fired to 2400 F and are very durable. He thinks of his work as an art form that can be incorporated into daily flow of life. The joy that using a handmade piece of pottery brings into a person’s life has been his main reason for making pottery for more than 25 years.
