Measures 4"W x 6"T x .75"D
Cathy Vaughn is a one woman shop working out of a mobile studio in Richmond, Virginia. Copper abstractions, leaf portraits and collaged totems are designed and crafted using industrial grade roofing copper, harvested leaves, found objects, and a variety of acids, bases, and solvent dyes to create intricate abstractions. Functional and fun copper leaf hooks and small sketch totems are made seasonally as green leaves emerge and are patina’d on copper. copper bowls are hand raised and textured using ancestral and custom-made hammers. Custom crafted commission work: from client-harvested leaves for custom abstractions, to outdoor garden accents, to floral bouquet renderings.
